revisiting the blogs

Happened to visit my blogs today. After more than a month since there creation and updation.

And i am actually surprised to see that i had written all those things. They seem wonderfll in retrospection.

Here, am absolutely cut off from all the thoughts about everything in this world. I think i was in a wonderful drive at that time.

I want to get on the drive again. And go ahead. No idea how to go about it. Absolutely no idea....

i am made of rain

i love rains...
and since past 2 weeks i am missing the rain....

and i am thinking of rains in nagpur and how much have enjoyed them...
i wish it rained today. Now.

I am thinking of our garden in nagpur. Yes, we do have a garden..with a lawn and all...right up there on the third floor. Yes we do. And its beautifull when it rains...on our terrace balcony....on our lawn...

i am thinkng of the changes a rain brings to thousands of creatures and organisams in our small garden....in all those small dark corners....its wonderful...

i wished it rained now.

I am made of rain.

happy i am

heard about the easter islands at the site , www.about.economics.com where economist mike moffat makes a passing referenceto it.

It got stuck somewhere in my mind..and offcourse i got google for me to crawl and bring the world to me.....

well, i have learned so many things this way...just like that..

anyways, its good that i hit upon easter islands. It has given me a big perspective on what PG talks in class. I thnk he should use easter islands as an example to prove all that he says....a live example.

but , personally the research on easter islands and my trips to the tekdi has opened up a new world for me....and isee how life is connected .....how am i a part of a something big .....thats such a nice thought....

i am happy that i could see things this way.

Humming food?

went for dinner with sapre sir on saturday.
Archit and all the other placed students gave us a party on sunday.

two days. back to back parties.
Two back to back parties...got drunk each time.
Vomitted everythng out .,,the next mornings.`
spent restless nights on both the nights...
it was a nightmare..

Was actually happy, sapre taking me out...wow..thats nice. He think well of me,it seems. and only me, no one else. Thats something.

aNd the party on sunday. Got so drunk.

parties are no longer fun for me. ..it seems.
I simply dont get along with the food!!
That gives me restless nights...indigestion..acidity ..what not ..and makes me feel miserable ....all night...sad really it is.

every next morning i vomited everything out...and i could see everythng....and smell all the alcohol..but i felt better after that..

last two days..i had food at bmcc mess. I have been so peaceful. And i have been cheerful and happy...i am at peace..

i thnk thats my humming food.

isnt this beautiful!!

This wonderful picture from www.lalanet.gr.jp

actually reminds me of my home, when we were at korba, near bilaspur , chattigarh. I was small then ..class 1 i guess...and we had huge trees behind or house.....andthey were safe it seems. Because i remember spending time over there alone. And one of those big giant trees, someone had put a swing ,,a crude one, made my just tying a tyre with a rope and tying the rope to a brance ...

and i dont remember a time when , i saw sunlight over there...and it was so cool..ya, we didnt have a lake over these ,,,as it is inthe above picture...

but i am missing that place today . so much... and i am wondering how many small ecosystems are surviving in there. Atlease 10,000 small creature were there in that bunch of trees....under the shades of the trees ...too good....

My Thoughts About Easter islands

Well, the story of Easter islands is certainly very disturbing. I think, PG sould incorporate this somewhere in the course. It could serve as a perfect example of all that he has been professing all through the session.

The easter island is a parable for us to learn from.Analogy can be drawn from the island in a vast ocean and our earth, like an island in the universe.

Easter Island is tiny, and it represented a small closed system. Over time, it can be said that , the closed system, under depleting reserves would eventually decline. However, the islanders perspective towards his environment is not very diferent then our own attitude towards our surroundings.

Therefore i say, its story with a MORAL.!!

This E from : www.plannersweb.com/planning-abcs/

Easter islands are probabaly too small,, but i think on an island as small as Easter, it was easy to see the effects of the deforestation as it was taking place. But the inhabitants continued their destructive actions. Rituals were developed to sanctify the continue and justify the exploitation of resources of the resources. The right to these resources was competetive and was grantd through a race. They prayed to their gods for their well being

They saw things were going bad, and they prayed ..but the trees ..they continued cutting them down. The results were reasonably predictable.

asaid in the BBC report i have pasted earlier, the person who felled the last tree could see that it was the last tree. Nonetheless, he (or she) still felled it.*

I think this is the scariest part of the story. Knowing the consequences of your actions....but still continuing it..It is so much like our own world. We know , where are all of our Ambivallies, and mega corporations and this race to cities taking us all...but still we continue.

The majority of people are too busy to take notice....they are simply not concerned!. They dont kind cutting down the last of the trees..and create another easter island of our times...i hope we wake up soon.

Are they responsible? or us? this pic from www.thebig.tripot.co.uk

Bharat Ek Khoj

Bharat ek khoj,,,one serial that i admired a lot. And llooking back ..i like the title song too...
something about this song that appeals to me,,maybe the way it was sung...or the music..dont know..but it does appeal..

I think all the primitive religions were in some way or the other, connected with nature so much that they saw everything as a continuation of each other. I dont think that the title track of Bharat ek khoj is something which belongs to hinduism. I think its different from hinduism. Not related at all to it.

i think , it speaks of some kind of wisdom,,,which PG referred in the class.

some thing primitive about the song ,,i think i cannot put it in words....its definitely not like the religion we know today.

Lot of talk about the sun, water, air , earth etc in the song..my favourite line in this song is..'us pal to agam, atal jal bhi kahaan thaa'...

and the way it has been composed!! its simply marvelous.. not heard of vanraj bhatia ,,but it seems he is wonderful.

Srushtee se pehle sat nahin thaa, asat bhi nahin
Antariksh bhi nahin, aakaash bhin nahin thaa
chhipaa thaa kyaa kahaan, kisne dekhaa thaa
us pal to agam, atal jal bhi kahaan thaa

Shushtee kaa kaun hain kartaa
Kartaa hain yeh vaa akartaa
Oonche aasmaan mein rahtaa
Sadaaa adhyaksh banaa rahtaa
Wohin sach much mein jaantaa..Yaa nahin bhi jaanataa
Hain kisi ko nahin pataa
Nahin pataa

Voh tha hiranya garbh srishti se pehle vidyamaan
Vohi to saare bhoot jaat ka swami mahaan
jo hai astitvamaana dharti aasmaan dhaaran kar
Aise kis devta ki upasana kare hum avi dekar

Jis ke bal par tejomay hai ambar
Prithvi hari bhari sthapit sthir
Swarg aour sooraj bhi sthir
Aise kis devta ki upasana kare hum avi dekar

Garbh mein apne agni dhaaran kar paida kar
Vyapa tha jal idhar udhar neeche upar
Jagaa chuke vo ka ekameva pran bankar
Aise kis devta ki upasana kare hum avi dekar

Om ! Srishti nirmata swarg rachayta purvaj rakhsa kar
Satya dharma palak atul jal niyamak raksha kar
Phaili hain dishayen bahu jaisi uski sab mein sab par
Aisi hi devta ki upasana kare hum avi dekar
Aisi hi devta ki upasana kare hum avi dekar

Hiwre Bazaar trip

well, lot of us have said so many things about our trip to hiwre bazaar. For me, it has reinforced all that i have bben thinking for the past two weeeks.

its not related to science tech eco..but is impoortant. The biggest learning in recent times,,,that i value more than anyting is that....

its always possible...and there will always be reasons for not doing something...and they would be the easy way out....and there will always be situations and people whom you can always put the blame of your inactions...you can always justify the inactions...

but from my personal experience i have realized that it takes a marginal effort to breakthrough from this mould..you just have to put in slightly higher efforts and things start falling in place... as paulo coelho in alchemist says...that the whole universe will conspire in your favour.

i have experienced this....nothing is actually impossible...hiwre bazaar is just one example..

the most imprtant thing ,,,is ..do you know where do you wanna go?

the whole world maks way for the man who knows where he wanna go" - johny walker....

is this out of place in this blog.....am least bothered.
